Schaffhausen Wine Tasting
27–29 August – Schaffhausen
Every year in August, the cloister of Allerheiligen Church hosts the Schaffhausen Wine Tasting. More than thirty wineries from the Blauburgunderland region in Schaffhausen present their wines and products in a historic setting.
Their winegrowers and vintners provide information about the production, character and special features of the wines. The Schaffhausen country women are also present, offering homemade braided bread, farmhouse bread and other delicacies, as are the Schaffhausen grape juice producers with their sparkling non-alcoholic drinks.
