This autumn, Swiss Wine is organising the 6th edition of ‘At the heart of the harvest’ over two weekends. In various wine-growing regions across Switzerland, you can spend half a day actively working in the vineyards and learning more about the exciting process of wine production. Equipped with a pair of vine shears, you will learn the ins and outs of grape harvesting under the expert guidance of a winemaker. Location The event takes place at various wineries in the wine-growing regions of Valais, Vaud, German-speaking Switzerland, Geneva, Ticino and the Three Lakes region. ‘NON’ Music and Wine Festival at the Sitenrain organic vineyard in Meggen The ‘NON’ Music Festival is once again inviting visitors to mark the end of summer at the Sitenrain organic vineyard in Meggen on 18 and 19 September 2026. With a diverse line-up, fine wine and a lovingly designed venue, the festival is an insider’s tip for music and wine lovers alike, as well as families. Since 2011, the ‘NON’ cultural association has been organising the two-day non-profit festival at the Sitenrain organic vineyard. The festival takes place at the end of September – right in the middle of the grape harvest and surrounded by golden autumnal vines. With its family-friendly atmosphere and unique setting, this open-air event has secured a firm place in Lucerne’s cultural landscape. The stage is set for Swiss acts The NON Festival sees itself as a platform for Swiss music. A hand-picked line-up has been put together for the small stage – artists who captivate audiences with minimal equipment. Swiss wine by the glass The festival takes place at the Sitenrain organic winery, which has been producing organic wine in Meggen for 20 years. Accordingly, wine culture is celebrated at the festival. On Saturday afternoon, visitors can discover the diversity of the German-speaking Swiss wine world. Elia Liberto (GR), Sven Hohl (ZH) and Nora Breitschmid (LU) will be presenting their wines at the wine bar from 4 pm to 8 pm. Families welcome Saturday afternoon in particular is a great time for families to meet up. Fête des Vendanges Neuchâtel 25–27 September 2026 – Neuchâtel The Fêtes des Vendanges is an unmissable annual event that celebrates the region’s wine-growing traditions and terroir. At the heart of this event, the Village des Vignerons plays a key role. Having been a highlight for several years now, this village comprises around twenty chalets where winegrowers, producers and local partners showcase their products. It highlights the Neuchâtel terroir as well as specialities from other regions of French-speaking Switzerland.
