World Chasselas Day
12 December 2025 will mark the third World Chasselas Day, an event that will be repeated every year on this date. On this day, numerous events throughout Switzerland will celebrate Chasselas, offering after-work gatherings, aperitifs, themed meals and tastings in hotels, restaurants, bars, wine bars, wine cellars, winter resorts and, why not, in your own private wine cellar. These events will be announced on this page as they are organised. Be sure to check back regularly! Uhland 21 Weinlade and Uhland21 in Karlsruhe GERMANY 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Masterclass led by Yvonne HEISTERMANN, Chasselas Ambassador, registration required Aigle (VD) A tasting will be held on the market square from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Lutry (VD) Masterclass on ‘old vintages’ led by Philippe MARTIN, oenologist at the Café de la Tour from 11:30 a. m. to 1:30 p. m. (registration required). Lausanne (VD) Lausanne Palace Bar 1915 tasting plate accompanied by 3 Chasselas wines Masterclass from 6:00 p. m. to 7:30 p. m. (registration required) Mont-sur-Rolle (VD) Conference and gourmet aperitif from 6:00 p. m. to 9:30 p. m. ( registration required ). Yverdon (VD) Aperitif: complimentary tasting from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. of the two appellations of Nord-Vaudois. Neuchâtel (NE) Cave de la Béroche, tasting of award-winning wines and masterclass Château de Boudry, tasting of award-winning wines and Gruyère cheese Les Vignerons de Genève (GE) A masterclass entitled ‘Chasselas in all its forms’ will be held at the boutique .
