Osterfingen wine press festival
In September and October, the Schaffhausen Pinot Noir region celebrates its autumn festivals. The villages are spruced up and decorated in bright colours. During the cheerful festivities, barns are transformed into cosy taverns, village squares and vineyards are bustling with activity, and the new vintage bubbles away in most cellars and wine presses.
The historic mountain wine press is located in the middle of the vineyard. It is the actual landmark of Osterfingen and gives the autumn festival its name.
