Swiss Wine Promotion is proud to be a partner of the Cool Climate Wine Summit in Copenhagen for the first year. Taking place from January 9–11, 2026, the Cool Climate Wine Summit is the leading international trade fair dedicated to cool climate wines. We are delighted to showcase 18 Swiss wine estates representing four of Switzerland’s most iconic wine regions. This selection highlights the diversity, precision, and quality that define Swiss wines from cool climate terroirs. In addition, we are pleased to host an exclusive masterclass on Sunday, January 11, led by renowned wine geneticist José Vouillamoz, offering in-depth insights into Switzerland’s unique grape varieties and viticultural heritage. We are delighted to introduce you to our 18 winemakers attending the summit : Mabillard-Fuchs Madeleine and Jean-Yves Mabillard-Fuchs share their passion for the vine and winemaking through their wines. Founded in 1993, Mabillard-Fuchs covers 3. 5 hectares of vineyards located on the hillside between the town of Sierre and the village of Venthône. The vines are cultivated according to integrated production standards, with natural grass cover promoting biodiversity. Mabillard-Fuchs wines are crafted in the most natural way possible. Cave Biber SA Founded in 1971 by René Mathier in Salgesch, Cave Biber began with its first Pinot Noir. Thirty years later, Jürg Biber took over the winery and introduced varieties that were exotic to the region at the time, such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec, earning respect and loyalty from customers. Since 2022, the winery has been led by Remo Meyer, with a team dedicated to quality, including Jasmine Fryand and Bernd Reichert. Jürg Biber remains as Honorary President. Domaine de Montbenay The origins of the Domaine de Montbenay , located in the heart of the Canton of Vaud, date back to the early Middle Ages, when monks from the Abbey of Montbenoît in France planted the first vines on the site. Today, the estate is run by Paul de Watteville, a 16th-generation winegrower, supported by his father Maurice, who passes on his valuable experience. Domaine de Montbenay is a historic, family-owned wine estate certified by Bio Suisse. Alongside them, two loyal team members, Filippo and Giuseppe, contribute their expertise and support on a daily basis. Domaine de Maison Blanche SA The Mestral family first appeared in written records in Mont in 1248. Today, the Domaine de Maison Blanche has expanded to 10 hectares, located on the hillside overlooking Lake Geneva, mainly planted with Chasselas. Antoine and Yves de Mestral enjoy vinifying Chasselas in every possible way: Chasselas in all its forms! In 2023, the estate obtained its first organic certification. Graenicher - vigneron Vincent Graenicher cultivates three estates located between Tartegnin and Mont-sur-Rolle. His vines lie halfway up the Côte Vaudoise hillside, at an altitude of around 500 metres, with a south-facing exposure overlooking the lake. The plots are cultivated according to the principles of organic farming and are Bio Suisse certified. de Graenicher – vigneron ’ s goal as a winemaker is to produce wines that fully reflect the terroir. Domaine de Chantegrive The team at Domaine de Chantegrive consists of Alain and Thérèse, who have been running the estate since 1993, and Victor, who has been part of the team since 1989 and is Alain’s right-hand man. The estate, which covers 15 hectares, is located between the municipalities of Aubonne and Gilly. It is committed to production methods that respect both its employees and the environment. Since 2017, no synthetic products have been used, and the estate is officially in the process of converting to organic farming. Wine By Jet Wine by JET , a winery located on the shores of Lake Zurich, produces exceptional terroir-driven wines. Led by Jonas Ettlin, the estate celebrates nature by adopting an organic approach from the vineyard to the cellar. The vineyards in Uetikon and Kloten have a long history and a winemaking tradition that continues with a forward-looking vision. Jonas Ettlin, cellar master and oenologist, is uncompromising in his pursuit of quality in the vineyards and relies on natural processes in the cellar. Vinigma AG Vinigma AG is synonymous with Swiss wines full of character and refreshing originality. Based in the city of Basel, this independent winery produces innovative wines, all bearing the unique signature of Valentin Schiess, its founder and owner. Weingut Lampert Lampert is a family estate established in 1984 by Mr. and Mrs. Lampert, located in Maienfeld. Each vintage has its own character, and during pressing, the wine further develops its unique personality. Thomas Lampert aims to produce elegant, fresh, and refined wines. He has spent the past 18 years pursuing his dream of owning his own vineyard. Since 2023, he has been managing his parents’ estate. Weingut Obrecht Christian and Francisca Obrecht form a complementary duo. Since 2006, they have been running the Obrecht estate in Jenins together. In the vineyards, Francisca brings out the best in the grapes, while Christian reveals their aromas in the cellar. Their solid training and creativity allow them to combine tradition and innovation, blending intuition and experience to produce wines that are consistently surprising and full of character. Wegelin AG Domaine Wegelin stands out for its terroir-driven wines, worked plot by plot to reveal the full richness of the soil. Rafael Hug, the winemaker, applies his expertise in soils and natural resources to the vineyard to elevate each vintage. Lauber Weine Since 1928, the Lauber Weine estate has been owned by the Lauber family. Ernst Lauber, a pioneer in viticulture, was among the first to plant Pinot Gris and Freisamer in the Bündner Herrschaft region. Today, Andrea and Anita Lauber manage the estate, which has been enriched with new specialties. The fourth generation, led by Marco Lauber, is already preparing to write the next chapter in this remarkable family story. Weingut Familie Hansruedi Adank AG Since 1984, Rezia and Hansruedi Adank have been passionately managing their wine estate in the Graubünden municipality of Fläsch. After studying and working abroad, their son Patrick returned to the family estate in 2018 to contribute his experience to the family business. He perfectly adapts his accumulated ideas and concepts to the terroir with a clear goal: to produce wines that are deep, elegant, complex, and capable of aging gracefully. Viticoltura Rohner Erni Founded in 1989 by Jacob Rohner, Viticoltura Rohner Erni is renowned for its environmentally friendly viticulture and terroir-driven wines. Since 2016, Madlaina Erni has been passionately managing production, supported by her mother Martina, combining hands-on work, authenticity, and family expertise. The vineyards are cultivated without herbicides or insecticides, with full respect for biodiversity and the natural balance. Anne-Claire Schott Since 2016, Anne-Claire Schott has been managing the family estate on the shores of Lake Biel. Her career as an oenologist was preceded by studies in art history and sociology, which gave her a deep understanding of the cultural aspects of winemaking. To preserve the heritage of this steep vineyard, she decided, two years later, to convert the estate to biodynamic cultivation. Silou Wines SiLOU Wines is a young, modern and passionate winery, dedicated to showcasing the best of the terroir around Lake Biel. Maja Möckli and Manuel Tschanz aim to reveal all the nuances of the lake through their wines. With environmentally friendly production methods, uncompromising rigor, and plenty of patience, they craft wines that can be enjoyed by everyone. Weingut Frauenkopf At Lake Biel, a wine is crafted where tradition and freshness meet. On 8 hectares of vineyards, the wines are produced with genuine expertise : organic, sustainable and full of passion. Since 2017, the estate has been run by Nick and Rahel, who combine skill, creativity and respect for nature. Frauenkopf tells an enduring, living story, where every glass reflects patience, dedication, and authenticity. Les Vins Porret Since 1858, the Porret family has been cultivating vines with passion and expertise, while respecting biodiversity. Jean-Christophe and Nicole took over the business and run the vineyard using integrated production methods, limiting the impact of cultivation on the environment. They were among the first winegrowers in the canton of Neuchâtel to plant the Swiss Gamaret grape variety in 1997. Today, the sixth generation, Sophie and Martin, trained at Changins, work with their family on the estate.
