With 50 applications from Switzerland’s six wine regions, this year’s competition highlights the growing diversity of Swiss wine tourism. Fourteen experiences have been shortlisted for the Regional Best of Wine Tourism Awards 2027. On 9 October 2026 in Lausanne, the winners in the seven categories will be announced, with the successful entries going on to represent Switzerland at the international competition.

Who Will Win the Best of Wine Tourism Awards 2027?

The decision will be announced on 9 October 2026 at the Regional Best of Wine Tourism Awards ceremony at Plateforme 10 in Lausanne. The regional winners will then qualify for the international Great Wine Capitals competition, which will be held in New Zealand this year.

One thing is already certain: if you want to do more than simply taste Swiss wine and instead discover its landscapes, people and stories, the nominees offer plenty of inspiration for your next trip.
